Riso at Zygote Press

Demonstration organized by Zygote Press

Description

Riso brand digital duplicators were invented by the Riso Kagaku Corporation in the 1980s in Tokyo, Japan. They create a stencil that is wound onto a drum filled with ink which then spins, forcing the ink through the stencil onto paper. Learn the process of risograph printing using Zygote's RP3700 Riso duplicator. Bring a drawing, collage, poster, anything sized under 11x17 inches and turn it into riso prints to take home or add to our gallery exhibition.
